Ramshorn Snails

Ramshorn Snails
Compact Cleaners with Swirling Shells

Ramshorn Snails are small, attractive freshwater snails known for their distinctive coiled shells that resemble a ram’s horn. Available in various colors including red, blue, brown, and even leopard-patterned, these snails are active scavengers that help keep tanks tidy by eating algae, detritus, and leftover food.

They’re excellent additions to planted tanks and shrimp tanks, where they help maintain cleanliness without disturbing delicate inhabitants.

Temperament: Peaceful and community-safe
Tank Size: 2.5 gallons and up
Diet: Algae, fish food, blanched vegetables, biofilm
Lifespan: 1–2 years
Reproduction: Can reproduce quickly in high-food environments

Note: Ramshorn populations can grow rapidly—monitor feeding and tank conditions to maintain balance.
